Brand Spot – TELEMUNDO “Redefining Hispanic Media”
For the NBCUniversal 2017 Upfront that showcased multiple brands, Telemundo was given 60 seconds to feature a brand spot.
I was the SVP of Marketing and Creative at the time, and our new strategy as a network was to no longer follow Univision’s steps, but to purposely become something very different. Telemundo would stand for quality in storytelling and production, as well as innovation within the Hispanic TV space. That’s how the tagline, “Redefining Hispanic Media” was born. For this spot, we chose a song that would speak to the fact that Telemundo, with this new strategy, was quickly becoming the #1 Spanish language network in prime time.
