TELEMUNDO DEPORTES REBRAND
After Telemundo acquired the FIFA World Cup rights for the first time, we knew that Telemundo Deportes needes a rebrand to let viewers know that Telemundo not only had The World Cup, but also, that it was a high-quality sports platform with the biggest sports events on the planet.
Another key goal was to visually convey the connection to our parent company, NBC Sports.
We teamed up with the London-based agency, Dixon Baxi, and gave birth to a new color palette that included the yellow font of the word Sports of NBC Sports, with silver and gray tones for the Telemundo logo.
To warm up towards the FIFA World cup, a year out from the gran event, we launched a special spot, tying the World Cup with the Telemundo Deportes brand campaign.
